Oro Valley Concert Series: Bouncing Czechs

The Town of Oro Valley and the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance have partnered to bring live music to residents for over 20 years.

The Town of Oro Valley and the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance have partnered to bring live music to residents for over 20 years. The Oro Valley Concert Series supports local musicians with the opportunity to perform monthly in the community’s largest shopping center. The series supports a range in music genres, from country to rock and jazz to classical. The Oro Valley concert series truly has something for every taste of music. Concerts are free to attend. Audience members are invited to bring their own chairs.

The Bouncing Czechs – Tucson’s Polka Band – have been performing in the Tucson area for over 25 years. The 5-piece band performs year-round throughout Arizona and are popular for playing music for Oktoberfests. The music of the Bouncing Czechs ranges from the traditional polkas and waltzes, to the popular American music of the pre-Bebop era. All experienced and accomplished musicians, the band features accordion, trumpet, clarinet/alto sax, tuba and drums. When the Bouncing Czechs don their Lederhosen, you know Oktoberfest season has arrived to Southern Arizona!
