21st Annual Sonoita AVA New Release Festival 2022

The 21st Annual celebration of the Sonoita AVA New Release Festival will take place on November 12th from 10:00 am–5:00 pm.
No reservations required.

Blessing of the new vintages are at noon.
Admission of $30 (online prepurchase) includes 8 wine tasting tickets with souvenir glass or $35 at the door.
Tasting of new and current releases from Sonoita Vineyards, The Meading Room, Wilhelm Family Vineyards, Lightning Ridge Cellars, The Village of Elgin Winery, The Elgin Distillery, Strive Vineyards, Hannah’s Hill Vineyard, Sunset Ride Winery, Charron Vineyards, Callaghan Vineyards, and Vino Stache.
Discussion with the winemakers present.
We will have vendors on site for Holiday Shopping!
Lunch may be purchased on-site All Day!
All Day Live Music 10-5pm!
This is the third of three festivals at Sonoita Vineyards for 2022! In 2023, the 45th Annual Blessing of Sonoita Vineyards is Saturday, April 22, 2023, HarvestFest is on Saturday, July 30, 2022, and Sonoita New Release Festival on November 11, 2023.
The Winery/Tasting Room is open daily from 10am-4pm except Closed Tuesdays and major holidays. Private tours, tastings, luncheons or special events in our Vintage Room may be arranged. Take Hwy 83 south from I-10. Sonoita Vineyards is located 3 miles south of Elgin at 290 Elgin-Canelo Road, Elgin, AZ 85611.

From Tucson:
Take I-10 south/east to Exit 281 (AZ-83). Take AZ-83 south 25 miles into Sonoita and continue on 83 about 4.5 miles to Elgin Road (left turn). On Elgin Road go 4.8 miles into Elgin and bear right onto Elgin-Canelo Road. We are 3 miles south (290 Elgin Canelo Road, Elgin, AZ 85611), make a right and you will see the Winery up on a hill.
