The Art of Alchemy

Jungian Analyst Jeffrey Kiehl leads a seminar focusing on the Jungian view of alchemy as a metaphor for the individuation process. CEUs available.

Through this presentation, participants will explore how: 1) the stages of alchemy represent steps in the process of psychological individuation. 2) specific alchemical processes are linked to psychopathology. 3) working with alchemical images provides a projective tool for working with clients.
Jeffrey Kiehl is a Diplomate Jungian Analyst and senior training analyst for the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado and the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. He is the author of Facing Climate Change: An Integrated Path to the Future, which provides a Jungian perspective on climate change. He has also published articles on US Cultural Complexes and Climate Change, and The Green Man and Climate Change. Jeffrey’s current interest include the relationship between psych & matter, alchemy and amplification of film through a Jungian lens. Jeffrey has presented on these topics at national and international conferences.
