An Almost Holy Picture explores life’s big questions. Samuel, a church groundskeeper, passionately shares his life journey as he peacefully maintains gardens and flower beds.
Through cathartic narration, Samuel’s ideas of God and faith are shaped by his daughter Ariel, who has a genetic disorder that singles her out for public scrutiny. A Pulitzer Prize nominated play, An Almost Holy Picture has been lauded for its fresh perspective and depth in the storytelling of subjects that shape our humanity and growth.
An Almost Holy Picture is directed by Sabian Trout and stars Stephen Frankenfield as Samuel. The show runs September 8th to October 8th (no show on Oct. 1st). Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 3:00pm, with a special Saturday matinee on October 8th at 3:00pm.
