Visit El Rio Preserve, a birding hotspot in Pima County
Join Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation birding expert Jeff Babson at El Rio Preserve for some late-summer birding – which in the Sonoran Desert means searching for species like Black-chinned Hummingbird, Brown-crested Flycatcher, and Bell’s Vireo, just to name just a few. There may even be a few early fall migrants around. Please remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water; wearing a hat and sunscreen are also recommended.
