Creatures of the Night: Agua Caliente Park

Bats, and frogs, and snakes – oh my! Join two naturalists as we seek flying, slithering, and hopping creatures that come out at night.

Explore the nocturnal world using bat detectors to discover who’s flying overhead, thermal cameras to detect heat signatures of covert critters, headlamps in search of animal eyeshine, and flashlights to observe snakes and other herpetofaunal creatures active during summer nights. Along the way we’ll learn about the diversity, ecology, and conservation of these interesting nocturnal animals. Cost: $10 fee. Online registration required
