End of Life Doula Certification Program

Harmony Hospice invites you to attend its End of Life Doula Certification Program.

The final journey to the end of life is one that very few want to make alone and so the Death Doula is an individual with the grace and gifts to be present with the individual as well as family and friends in the hours and days of this transition from earthly life and eternity. While all individuals may not be seeking certification, the workshop itself will provide information, skills and practices that may benefit person wishing to understand the death process and how to make those challenging days and hours peaceful, comfortable, and other aspects leading to a “Good Death.”

Harmony Hospice invites you to attend its End of Life Doula Certification Program. This two-day training will provide information, case studies, hands-on-skill-building – all in an effort to help you learn a holistic approach to end of life care. Attendees will know what to expect physically, emotionally, and spiritually when a person’s health declines. Our End of Life Doula program is designed to prepare attendees with the tools to assist those transitioning from life to death as well as their loved ones.

Saturday, September 30, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 1, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

*Rev. Dr. Murray Flagg, Director of Education and Spiritual Care – AA., BS, MDiv., PhD, with multiple certifications including Naturopathy, Ho’Oponopono, Herbal Medicine, Reiki and Acupressure

*Cathy Swager, BSRN, over 30 years as a Hospice Case Manger

The registration fee to attend the training is $250. For those who seek their End of Life Doula Certification, the registration fee is $500. Registration fees include training materials.
