Jazz in the Gardens

“Jazz in the Gardens” is a fundraiser sponsored by the Tucson Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in conjunction with Deltas of Southern Arizona, Inc. (DSA).
“Jazz in the Gardens,” an afternoon of delectable food and music, will take place Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 1-4 p.m., at La Mariposa Resort, 1501 N. Houghton Road. Performing will be local jazz vocalists Ada Redd Austin, Erika Venus Vox, Arlette Willis, Angel Diamond, and Frances Pace Bowman. Musicians accompanying the vocalists will be Michael Bowman on sax, Josh Sailor on bass guitar, Steve Smith on electric guitar, Chris Pena on the keyboard, and Rudy Martinez on drums.
