Poetry Magazine Cover Flats

This exhibition showcases the resulting collaborations between the guest editors and cover artists for these issues, celebrating the magazine’s new editorial philosophy that makes space for new people

From May 2021 to September 2022, during a time of immense growth at the Poetry Foundation, Poetry invited five guest editors to curate issues from communities historically underrepresented in the magazine’s pages. This exhibition showcases the resulting collaborations between the guest editors and cover artists for these issues, celebrating the magazine’s new editorial philosophy that makes space for new people and poems.

This exhibit is located on the north wall of the Poetry Center’s Reading Room.
