SASO welcomes guest conductor Ahmed El Saedi and Italian cellist Francisco Mariozzi for Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8.
Guest conductor Ahmed El Saedi leads the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra through Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8. The Egyptian maestro was recently awarded the State Prize for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts from the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and currently serves as music director of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra. Italian cellist Francesco Mariozzi performs Cello Concerto in D major by Joseph Haydn.
