Twelve musicians from Nantes, France, collaborate with locals Jeff Grubic and Dimitri Manos to create a reptitive soundscape inside the Owls Club. Project Director Jeff Grubic says ‘The Ad Nauseam Project is not just a musical performance, it is a test of body and will. Tucson musicians Jeff Grubic and Dimitri Manos will collaborate with the French Masterclass musicians to create a repetitive soundscape inside a room in the Owl’s Club. Each musician will be asked to subsume their individuality inside the churning sound mass of the unifying hum. With a sense of corporeality obliterated through physical repetition, clarity in a common purpose, or transformation may be witnessed.’
