The Old West’s Most Famous Newspaper was founded on May 1, 1880 in Tombstone, Arizona by Wyatt Earp’s lifelong friend, John P. Clum. Visitors to the free museum can read original reports of the historic Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, the shooting of Virgil Earp, Tombstone’s Great Fire, and more. Tour the historic print shop of Arizona’s oldest continually published newspaper, and discover how the Epitaph was printed on the original 1880’s press. Read about Editor Clum’s fascinating life as he played in America’s second football game, captured the Apache Warrior Geronimo, and served as Tombstone’s Mayor and Postmaster.
